Todd Novaczyk is the founder, President and CEO of New Perspective Senior Living, a developer, owner and operator of senior living communities in the Midwest. Todd's mission-driven, goal-oriented operations direction delivers superior resident care, food service, activities, programming and facilities management throughout all of the New Perspective Senior Living communities.
Before founding New Perspective Senior Living, Todd was a Senior Vice President for Domestic and International franchising for Carlson Companies in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prior to Carlson, Todd acted as the President and CEO for Chabot Management Company, where he and his partner developed, owned and managed 61 restaurant and hotel properties over a twenty year period. The pair was responsible for site selection, financing, development, construction and management. Since 1998 Todd has developed, financed and operated nine senior housing communities in four states, providing secure, home-like environments for over 500 residents.
Todd has both undergraduate and graduate degrees from St. Cloud State University and Mankato State University.

Ryan Novaczyk is responsible for directing the company's fiscal functions, overseeing business performance, investments, strategy and growth initiatives. He is actively involved in the development and implementation of operational and financial strategies and systems, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, marketing, cash management, procurement, capital expenditures, acquisitions and financing/structuring new development projects.
Ryan has over 11 years of experience in the senior housing and finance sectors. Prior to joining New Perspective Senior Living Ryan served as Vice President of Equity Research for two multi-billion dollar financial services firms in located in New York and Minnesota. Previously Ryan was engaged in equity research and investment banking, and mergers and acquisitions at Piper Jaffray in Minnesota. While at Piper he was involved in closing over one billion of IPO and M&A-related financing.
Ryan graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota with a Bachelor-of-Arts Degree, majoring in Finance with a minor in Economics. Ryan holds professional certificates from the Erickson School at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in the following disciplines of the Seniors Housing & Care executive education program: Seniors Housing Executive, Finance, and Sales/Marketing.

Scott McCutcheon recently joined New Perspective Senior Living as the Vice President of Operations. In this role, he oversees all day to day delivery of programs and services in each NPSL community.
Mr. McCutcheon has specialized in senior living for more than 13 years. He began his career in skilled nursing in the field of social work. Thereafter, he managed memory care neighborhoods with a passion to transform nursing assistants into cutting edge, dementia care "leaders." Since that time, Scott has held the Regional Manager position for a large senior living provider in which he worked in multiple facilities in multiple markets.
Over the course of his career, Scott has championed resident care through strategic, laser-sharp focus on staffing, team member relations, and delivery of innovative services to seniors. Mr. McCutcheon has led many critical and successful initiatives which resulted in optimized customer and team member engagement.
Mr. McCutcheon is a member of Aging Services of Minnesota, he holds a Master of Arts degree in Gerontology, and Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation. He resides in Saint Paul, Minnesota with his wife, Melissa and son, Jackson.

Tina Duvall is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions including A/R, A/P, payroll and preparation of financial statements for New Perspective Senior Living. Tina has over 15 years of accounting and financial experience in various industries. This includes ten-plus years in the banking industry and five-plus years in various manufacturing industries.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from St. Cloud State University while maintaining a spot on the Honor Society, as well as a Bachelor of Science in accounting degree from Metro State University.

Nic completed an 83-unit assisted living and memory care community in Waconia, MN in 2005, and a 136-unit continuum of care community in Silvis, Illinois in 2006. Currently he is building two 15-unit communities in Cloquet, MN, scheduled to open in July of 2008, as well as a 15-unit memory care community in Silvis, that will open in October, 2008.
As the Director of Construction, Nic is responsible for our state-of-the-art facilities, supporting the development of new projects and maintenance of new and existing buildings in order to provide secure home-like environments for our seniors. He is also engaged in information technology support throughout the company.
Prior to joining New Perspective Senior Living, Nic spent five years at Compass Productions, Inc, in Minneapolis as the in-store display manager of over 6000 locations, overseeing the customer service department and supporting the sales and design team. An accomplished pianist, Nic has also written and composed music through njn productions in Hopkins, MN, and has co-produced a CD for the Lifescapes series at Target Stores.

Jana is a Registered Nurse with responsibility to direct and monitor the health and wellness of residents in the Lighthouse communities. She is actively involved in new program development, quality assurance and staff education.
Jana has over 20 years experience in home care, public health, acute care, skilled care, regulatory compliance and consulting. Her most recent position with the State of Minnesota included overseeing, evaluating and investigating regulatory compliance in Senior Living.
Jana graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota and holds a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing degree.

David Kieffer, a graduate of University of Wisconsin at Madison, has joined New Perspective Senior Living in Edina as Director of Marketing for Minnesota. David has over ten years of experience in the long term care industry. He began his career as a waiter in his grandmother's independent living residence. While there he recognized his passion for the elderly and knew that serving seniors was his calling. Following college, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia and took a position as a Sales Director for the non-profit assisted living community, CaraVita Inc. While working as Sales Director, he acted as a consultant for census- challenged properties.
Two years later, David was promoted to the Executive Director position in a sixty-bed assisted living community. Following his tenure as Executive Director, he was recruited by Emeritus Senior Living to work as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for ten assisted living communities in Georgia and Florida. With his extensive knowledge of the Senior Living industry, and his experience working in both small and large companies, David will bring many fresh ideas to New Perspective. We welcome him to our team.
